On 11 and 12 July 2026, the Σωτήρης Μέσσιος Sports Centre in Latsia, Nicosia, becomes the stage for one of Cyprus's most anticipated combat-sport weekends. The Empire of Warriors returns under the joint aegis of the Cyprus Traditional Muaythai Federation and the International Combat Organisation (ICO), bringing together competitors across three disciplines: Muay Thai, K1, and Sparring.
The schedule is structured to make the most of both days. Weigh-ins begin at 08:00 each morning, with bouts getting underway at 10:30 — leaving plenty of time for a full card of fights before the evening. The programme spans multiple weight categories, meaning the action rarely lets up and the crowd is kept engaged from the opening bell to the final decision.
What sets The Empire of Warriors apart from a casual club event is the calibre of organisation behind it. The ICO's involvement ensures that rules, judging and athlete welfare meet internationally recognised standards, while the Cyprus Traditional Muaythai Federation brings deep local knowledge and a loyal community of practitioners and fans. Together, they create an environment that feels serious without losing the raw energy that makes combat sport so compelling to watch.
Tickets are priced at €15 per day and are available at the door — a straightforward entry point whether you are a seasoned fan of the sweet science of Muay Thai or simply curious about what K1 competition looks like up close.
