Why go

  • Nine simultaneous stages along one avenue
  • Free entry, no tickets required
  • Ideal for a relaxed summer evening stroll

For the third consecutive year, Pernera Avenue in the Protaras Riviera area of Famagusta is set to become an open-air concert hall stretching the length of a seaside promenade. On Sunday, 5 July 2026, from 19:00 to 21:00, the Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia will transform this coastal boulevard into a living musical corridor, with nine stages and forty musicians performing simultaneously across the avenue.

What distinguishes this festival from a conventional concert is its deliberately scattered layout. Rather than funnelling audiences toward a single focal point, the format invites visitors to wander — discovering a jazz quartet here, a folk ensemble there, each stage offering its own sonic character. The route leads naturally toward the seafront pedestrian promenade, making the evening as much a leisurely stroll as a music event.

Now in its third edition, the festival has clearly found its audience among both locals and the many visitors who fill the Protaras coast in early July. The programme is published in advance, allowing attendees to plan their route between stages. Entry is entirely free, with no tickets, no wristbands, and no barriers — just music in the open air on a warm Cypriot summer evening.
