Protaras is rarely short of summer spectacle, but Wednesday 19 August 2026 promises something genuinely out of the ordinary. Michael Marouli — a standout contestant from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, celebrated for razor-sharp wit, magnetic stage presence and an instinct for pure entertainment — takes the stage at Diamonds Showbar for one unmissable night.
Doors open at 18:30, giving guests ample time to settle in, order a drink and soak up the atmosphere before the show kicks off at 21:30. The evening will be hosted by the formidable Heffa Trott, whose command of a crowd is as polished as her sequins, ensuring the energy stays high from the very first moment.
Diamonds Showbar has established itself as one of the most welcoming and vibrant entertainment venues on the island, drawing a diverse crowd that spans LGBTQ+ regulars, drag enthusiasts and curious first-timers alike. Its Protaras location, within the broader Famagusta district, makes it easily accessible for visitors staying along the eastern coastline.
Tickets are already available, and given Michael Marouli's following, early booking is strongly advisable. Whether you're a devoted fan of the franchise or simply looking for the most glamorous night out Cyprus has to offer this summer, this is the event to put in your diary.
