On 4 and 5 July, Limassol hands its streets, squares and waterfront over to music. The 6th Festival of Philharmonic Orchestras transforms the city's most atmospheric public spaces into open-air stages, with brass bands marching along the seafront promenade, performing in the historic squares of the old town, and culminating in a grand final concert at the Old Harbour — one of the most evocative settings the city has to offer.
The festival is organised jointly by the Municipality of Limassol and the Theotocos Foundation in memory of Amerikos Argyriou, a partnership that has sustained this event through six consecutive editions and kept admission entirely free of charge.
