On Sunday 20 September 2026, Limassol's seafront becomes a two-wheeled playground for the annual Limassol Cycling Tour. The route covers 10 kilometres along the city's coastal promenade — one of the most scenic stretches of urban cycling in Cyprus — and the whole affair is deliberately unhurried. There are no race numbers, no podiums and no pressure: just riders of all ages moving together through the morning light with the Mediterranean as a backdrop.
The event sets off at 9:00 am from the Enaerio car park, a convenient assembly point that gives participants time to warm up, meet fellow riders and soak in the pre-ride atmosphere. Teams, sports clubs, families and solo cyclists are all equally welcome, and the inclusive spirit is very much part of the event's identity.
Every participant receives a commemorative jersey and a finisher's medal — tangible mementos of a morning well spent. Entry is entirely free of charge, making this one of the most accessible community events on the Limassol calendar. A full schedule has been published separately by the organisers.
Whether you are a seasoned cyclist looking for a sociable weekend outing or a parent introducing children to the joy of riding by the sea, the Limassol Cycling Tour offers exactly the right combination of scenery, community and effortless fun.
