On 28 August 2026, the open-air venue Columbia Sun on Limassol's Lady's Mile coastline hosts another edition of Azul — a night that has built a quiet reputation for doing things properly. The format is unhurried: doors open at sunset, the music deepens as the evening progresses, and the last groove lands well past midnight. With the sea as a backdrop and warm air carrying the bass across the terrace, the setting does a great deal of the work before a single record is played.
Headlining the night are Moeaike, an Italian production duo from Taranto composed of Roberto Dell'Osso and Gaetano Laterza. Active since 2019, they have developed a sound that sits at the intersection of Afro House and Afro Tech — warm low-end frequencies, percussion rooted in African rhythmic traditions, and melodic layers that accumulate slowly and deliberately. There is nothing rushed about their sets; the intention is immersion rather than impact.
Azul as a concept suits this approach well. Rather than a conventional club night, it positions itself as a curated musical experience — one where the crowd tends to be genuinely engaged rather than merely present. Expect a mix of electronic music regulars, summer visitors and anyone curious enough to follow a good recommendation down to the beach.
Tickets are available online at an Early Bird rate of €16.95, with standard entry from €15. Given the scale of the venue and the calibre of the act, booking ahead is the sensible move.
